Global Performing Artist Career / Entertainment Content Creator Career – What exactly is it?

Have you ever taken a moment to think about the possibilities? For decades over the past century, we have always been led to believe that many of the most beloved artists we have had the pleasure of meeting here on these shores embodied the thinking of what truly global talent was. In fact, to be more precise, the term most often used to describe them is/was “International Superstar”. This term has been used quite loosely for quite some time without anyone claiming to know what it means is about to define its parameters for average people. By the way, who are these mysterious executives of beings who bestow such high honors there as if they were handing out Pez? What are the definitions or standards that distinguish those who are chosen as deities on earth from the rest of us? What extraordinary valuation is given to their person or their capacity to receive granting them this status supposedly recognized throughout the world? And what about those live performers on the other side of the world wreaking havoc of their own as they walk among the common people across metropolitan cities on a casual stroll? Equally important right now, who out there in the world nearly filled the gigantic imprint left by the absence from life or presence of the world’s most famous entertainer, Michael Jackson.

And this is where the spat begins. While most would agree with Mike’s estimate of prowess and assessment of the King of Pop’s legacy, many will argue emphatically for the crown to go to Sinatra, Bing, Hope, Madonna , Celine, Prince or a whole series of others, including THE King – Elvis Presley (don’t forget Marilyn). While all of these people are widely recognized for their efforts and magnificent accomplishments, how many have reached the level where Barbara Streisand, Liz Taylor or Michael have hung on? Look far into the pop culture of any other country and you can argue for a dozen other prolific icons.

Anyway, again I ask who sets the parameters, rules or standards by which this high status is measured? Before, it was simple. The amount of money an individual earned or the product they sold could often be used as justification for awarding the nickname “international superstar” (or global talent). This line got a little fuzzy when the publicity and press departments of various media companies started using fuzzy math to fudge the numbers in favor or commit something that wasn’t quite true.

Does the term “Global Performing Talent” imply that the artist has many facets, that he possesses the ability to manipulate a number of performing arts talents, which makes him a kind of “dynamo” in entertainment?

Four centuries later, in this 21st, we find ourselves again being led into a new dimension and a new era of life that holds so much promise for the future. With the recognition of what is happening squarely at our feet, it is time for the societies of the world to seize and embrace these changes that are screaming a loud roar in our faces every day, yet we sit complacent and otherwise complacent pissed off by events unfold over which we think we have no control. Stop fearing change. Change is good, no matter how tactful it takes.

No? In fact, simply by mastering and acknowledging that we ARE in this new phase, you will place yourself light years ahead of your peers. You will have the luxury of being one of the most astute people able to take advantage of something that others haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of. This happens every 4 or 5 hundred years or so.
